Ephesus was a bustling multicultural hub – a melting pot of people from all over the world. And it was one of the first placee where the news about Jesus gained a hearing and took root. And so a church was established and many people came to faith.

Later, when Paul was in prison, he wrote to this young church finding its way, encouraging them and reminding them of the scope of the good news that God had revealed to him in Jesus. It is this letter that we now call, “EPHESIANS”.
