More than a school is a community dedicated to blessing our local junior school – the kids, the parents and the staff.

St Michael’s Junior School is an incredibly vibrant, colourful, and dynamic church school just a short walk away from our main building. Under the leadership of a great Head and with some wonderful staff it aims to help every child in Twerton achieve their best. As a church we want to support this school in any way we can and the ‘more than a school’ community draws us together in all this. We want to make a difference to the whole school – parents, kids and staff – adding our encouragement, support and practical help where we can.

As part of this mission :

• some of us are part of the Governing body
• some take assemblies
• others are starting up after-school clubs
• many volunteer practically
• some of us want to start a mentoring service
• others want to help with literacy
• all of us pray for the school
