Hi…  Welcome to Bath…

It is great that you have discovered us online and we hope that the site gives you a feel for what we are like… We are just an ordinary group of people trying our best to live for Jesus and represent his kingdom here in Twerton. Enthusiastic, but nothing special.

As I hope you will have guessed by the other stuff on the site, St Michael’s is a local church just trying to be a good church in Twerton, for the people of Twerton…   If you want to find our more about the Vision of the church check it out on the ‘vision’ page by clicking here…

So, what are we like?
A wonderfully diverse, down to earth, passionate, local, mission oriented, community of people on a large estate on the edge of Bath, desperate to make a difference and bless the community in Jesus’ name

Where do we meet?
St Michael’s Church, Watery Lane, Twerton, Sat Nav: BA2 1RL

When do we meet?
Our main church gathering is at 10:15 on Sunday Mornings but we think that Mondays are as important as Sundays

Our local universities are

• Bath Spa University
• Bath University

What do we do during freshers week?
Look out for our ‘Welcome’ meals and student packs : )
And we’d love to show you around if that would help.

What do we do for students?
The main thing we offer students is a place where anything you are and anything you do can make a difference. Everyone can join in. We are focused on mission and blessing our community. If you ever wanted to join an ‘Eden’ type church but got in to Bath and not Manchester, then we are the people to join in with.

We also have doughnuts at every service : ) What more could you want?

We see ourselves as just one part of the family of God and link up with other Christians locally and are more focused on the Kingdom of God than we are on building a church.  We can’t promise you a great show or fancy stuff to entice you in, but we will will welcome you in and invite you to join us in our mission…
