VISION & VALUES
The Marlbrook Team is a family of churches in the South West of the city. It currently includes St Michael’s, Twerton & Ascension, South Twerton (Oldfield Park). We are exploring how we might work more closely under a shared Team Vision.
We are praying for a fresh move of God in power and to see revival come to Bath with people falling in love with Jesus and lives being transformed. We have been encouraged by the prophetic picture in Ezekiel 47.

We believe everyone gets to play in God’s Kingdom. There is a place for everyone to belong and take part in His glorious mission of making disciples who make disciples as part of an extended family on mission.
We GATHER as big church for celebrations in the church building on 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month and SCATTER into smaller missional communities on 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Missional communities meet in places that are more accessible to the people we are seeking to show God’s love to.

Lighthouse Leader
Nathan oversees the various refuge projects that form part of the Lighthouse ministry, including cafe at Rose Cottage, chaplaincy at St Michael’s Junior School and partnership projects such as Food Bank. Married to Lucy and with four amazing children. Nathan also overseas the foodbank distribution point running from the centre. Loves cricket.

Most of the week she is based at St Michael’s Junior School on Newton Road working with children, parents and staff.

Buildings Manager
Jennie works part time overseeing our buildings and grounds. She also assists the treasurer in the finance department. If you need to book a room or pay a bill contact her directly.

Liscenced Lay Minister
Dilys is licensed by the Diocese to lead particular services and celebrate communion by extension (bread & wine have been ‘pre-blessed’!). She also oversees the pastoral support of our older generations and co-leads Roots & Shoots Missional Community.

Basically we are at the end of Twerton High Street just past the glorious Full Moon Pub. Can’t miss the building really… The number 5 Bus stops just on the corner.
Of course, as has been said repeatedly before, the church is not the building but the people – so in actual fact you can ‘find us’ all over the place in Twerton…
